  • Born, raised, and resided in most areas of Kingston including Portsmouth District.

  • Currently works as an employer in Portsmouth District and has for many years.

  • Coached hockey and soccer (15 years).

  • Served on the Kingston Frontenac Housing Corporation (3 years).

  • Happily married in a blended family with four grown children, two grown step-children and two grandchildren with one more on the way.

I was proud to receive the Base Commander Commendation for my work with Military families and Youth.
As Interim ED, I worked with the following:

Executive Director for Seniors Association Kingston Region (2015 to present)

The Seniors Association is provincially identified as a Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC). Of the 302 SALCs in the province, Kingston’s is the largest membership/organization. As ED, I collaborate with the following organizations and Ministries.

  • Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility

  • City of Kingston

  • Ministry of Health & Long Term Care

 

Leadership Experience

  • More than 30 years dealing with budgets up to $2.6 million

  • Strong understanding of the business/not-for-profit sectors: public relations, financial management, fundraising and development, strategic planning, social enterprise,

  • Working in cooperation with a Boards of Directors

  • Building strong collaborative relationships with Staff
