ISSUE | Sleeping Cabins in Rodden Park

" Rodden Park is in constant use by children, families, seniors, and others in the neighbourhood. It is not a suitable location for the placement of sleeping cabins. The individuals in need of these shelters deserve to be set up for success. They deserve a location that has support services, such as community agencies, essential services, and necessary amenities that can easily be accessed. None of these are in the Calvin Park, a residential neighbourhood. At the end of the day, there needs to be a more permanent, humane solution to this housing crisis. Rodden Park cannot offer such a solution. I do not support locating the sleeping cabins in Rodden Park."
